My idea is to limit, with in reason, what i eat during the week and allow for the weekends to be open to what ever i would like, also with in reason. this has worked well for me in the past.
so monday-friday weekly serving guidelines:
Grains: 20-25 servings
Veggies: 15-20 servings
Fruits: 10 servings
Dairy: 10 servings
Proteins: 10 servings
